The principal director of Skinner Associates limited is Ian Skinner B.Eng (Hons) C.Eng FCIBSE FIMechE FIHEEM.

Ian has more than 40 years’ experience within the building engineering services industry and has held director level positions with major and celebrated engineering consultancy practices, overseeing the successful delivery of numerous technically challenging and highly complex projects.

He has gained wide experience across many market sectors and has gained particular knowledge, experience and expertise in the science, research and healthcare sectors.

Ian’s project portfolio includes; high containment biological research facilities (to ACDP4 and SAPO4), high chemical containment buildings, BRU facilities, clean/bio-exclusion environments and many others including healthcare, health science and university research facilities.

He is also experienced in projects requiring 3rd party validation from organisations such as the Home Office, HSE, MHRA, HTA etc.
